OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Funding is now available for the first OLR Choral Scholarships. The basic idea is very simple: musically gifted children are encouraged by receiving a scholarship for tuition at the parish school. In return, they become 'choral scholars', attend choir practice, learn to sing properly and then sing in the church and school choirs.
In this first year, twelve choral scholars will be chosen: two from each grade between 3rd grade and 8th grade. The scholarship is worth up to $1,000.00 per year.
Auditions are open to any child. Here is a good opportunity for you to invite friends and neighbors who have musically gifted children to be part of our school and parish community. Auditions are held on Wednesday, May 25 and Thursday, May 26 from 3-4. Please contact the school for more information or download the information letter and application form here
